1 man injured as Russian shelling hits a fire station in Kostyantynivka

On Wendesday, Russian troops launched an attack on a fire and rescue station in Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region. According to Ukraine’s emergency service, the shelling left a senior firefighter seriously injured.

The man was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he is receiving critical medical care. He sustained multiple injuries to his neck and face, a broken jaw, and a concussion. His condition remains serious but stable.

The attack also damaged the private vehicles of several firefighters. Emergency crews put out a bus fire that broke out after the shelling.
