10 injured in Russian attacks on Donetsk communities

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces unleashed a wave of strikes on several communities in the Donetsk region, leaving ten people injured and damaging civilian infrustructure.

Kurakhove saw damage to a key infrastructure site, while a local store in Kurakhivka was hit by shelling.  In Ostrivske and Hirnyk, private homes bore the brunt of the attacks. Meanwhile, damage was reported in the town of Myrnohrad where a social facility was shelled. A private home was damaged in Pokrovsk, while two people were injured, and five homes sustained damage in Udachne.

The town of Lyman faced significant destruction, with five apartment buildings, two infrastructure facilities, and a car damaged in the bombardment. In Malynivka, three people were wounded and a warehouse was damaged by shelling. Kostiantynivka was also under fire, leaving three injured and causing damage to three apartment buildings, two cars, and an infrastructure site. Over in Markove, three private homes were damaged as well.

The Bakhmut district didn’t fare any better. One house was completely destroyed in Siversk, while four others suffered varying levels of damage. Toretsk saw one person injured and a house reduced to rubble. The Chasovoyarska community wasn’t spared either – one person was injured when shelling struck  seven private homes, an apartment building, four non-residential structures, two infrastructure sites, and an industrial facility.

Amidst the chaos, emergency teams evacuated 730 people from the front lines, including 83 children.
