10 wounded in Kherson region after Russian shelling

The situation in Kherson remains volatile as Russian troops continue their relentless bombardment of its communities. On Wednesday, their attacks left 10 people wounded, including a police officer.

The communities hit by the strikes include Kherson, Antonivka, Sadove, Inzhenerne, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Komyshany, Zelenivka, Veletenske, Chornobaivka, Mykilske, Beryslav, and more.

Police report that the shelling damaged 43 properties: 32 private homes, five apartment buildings, a kindergarten, and two police vehicles.

In Havrylivka, a 77-year-old man suffered severe injuries, including a skull fracture and shrapnel wounds, after a drone attack. Police rescued him from the shelling zone and transferred him to medics.

In Stanislav, two men, aged 44 and 70, sustained shrapnel wounds and concussions from drone strikes.

Artillery fire on Zelenivka wounded five local residents, ranging in age from 31 to 86, and left them with blast injuries, concussions, fractures, and shrapnel wounds. The barrage also damaged 15 houses in the town.

In Veletenske, a 37-year-old man suffered serious head injuries and a concussion from an artillery strike.

Chornobaivka came under fire  from multiple rocket launchers, damaging two police vehicles and injuring a female police officer, who sustained a concussion.

The community faces daily trauma and damage from this brutal onslaught, yet emergency responders remain on the ground, continuing their work despite the risks.
