148 combat engagements reported over last 24 hours – Ukraine’s General Staff

The situation on the frontline remains intense, with 148 combat clashes reported in the past 24 hours, according to Ukraine’s General Staff.

Over the last 24 hours, the enemy launched one missile strike and 89 airstrikes, dropping 154 guided bombs on Ukrainian positions and civilian areas. Additionally, over 4,000 shellings were recorded, including 86 attacks from multiple rocket launchers. On top of this, more than 1,500 kamikaze drones were deployed to target Ukrainian forces.

Ukraine’s Defense Forces fought back with air and artillery strikes, hitting two enemy command posts, three areas where personnel and military equipment were concentrated, and disabling five enemy artillery systems.

  • Kharkiv Direction: Russian forces launched nine assaults near Vovchansk and Tykhe.
  • Kupiansk Direction: Ukrainian defenders repelled nine attacks around Pishchane, Kruglyakivka, Stepanivka, Lozova, Vyshneve, and Pershotravneve.
  • Lyman Direction: Twelve attacks targeted areas near Hrekivka, Terny, Novomykhailivka, Torske, and Serebrianka.

  • Kurakhove Direction: Ukrainian forces repelled 34 attacks, especially around Katerynivka and Kreminna Balka.
  • Vremivka Direction: Five assaults were repelled near Bohoyavlenka, Novoukrainka, and Zolota Nyva.
  • Orikhiv Direction: A failed attack was repelled near Novodanilivka.
  • Prydniprovske Direction: Four enemy attempts to dislodge Ukrainian forces were thwarted.

Meanwhile, Russian aviation continued to bomb its own villages and towns in the Kursk region, with 38 airstrikes using 55 guided bombs on their territory over the past day.

No signs of new enemy assault groups have been detected on the Volyn and Polissya fronts, while Russian artillery and aviation continued to strike Ukrainian border areas from Russian territory.
