Ukrainian troops shoot down a Su-34 jet in Kursk region

In the early hours of August 14, Ukrainian troops destroyed a Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber in Russia’s Kursk region, according to an update from Ukraine’s General Staff.

The aircraft was shot down by the anti-aircraft missile units of the Ukrainian Air Force.

The General Staff said that “efforts to eliminate occupying forces”, along with their equipment and weaponry, are “ongoing and relentless”.
