187 combat engagement over past 24 hours- General Staff

.The situation on the front lines remains tense as Russian forces are trying to take advantage of superior equipment and manpower. Ukrainian troops though are holding the ground, inflicting significant losses on the aggressor.

In the past 24 hours, 187 combat engagements took place along the front lines. The most intense fighting was reported in the Kupiansk area , where Ukrainian forces repelled 15 attacks near Synkivka, Kruhliaivka, Stelmakhivka, and Pishchane. In the Lyman area, Russian troops attempted 18 assaults in an effort to break through defenses near Druzhelyubivka, Cherneshchyna, Nevske, Makiivka, Novosadove, and Bilohorivka.

In the Kharkiv area, Russian forces conducted airstrikes on the city of Vovchansk using guided bombs. Additionally, they launched ballistic missile attacks on the city of Kharkiv, resulting in damage to civilian infrastructure and casualties among the local population.

Fiercest battles are ongoing in the Pokrovsk area, where Ukrainian defenders halted 46 enemy assault attempts near Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Krasnyi Yar, Hrodivka, and Novohrodivka. The highest concentration of attacks was observed near Novohrodivka.

In the Kurakhivka area, Ukrainian forces repelled 40 attacks, including around Kostyantynivka, Heorhiivka, Tsukuryne, Ukrainsk, and Zhelanne Pershe.

Additionally, Russian forces carried out 12 attacks in the Toretsk area, supported by aviation, near Dachne, Nelipivka, Toretsk, and Shcherbynivka.

In the southern regions, particularly in the Orikhiv and Hulyaipole areas, Russian forces launched assaults near Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, and Hulyaipole, but all attempts were repelled by Ukrainian troops.

Overall, Russian forces launched three missile strikes, 79 airstrikes, dropped 127 guided bombs, and conducted over 4,580 artillery shellings, including 154 strikes from multiple rocket launchers.

Ukraine’s air force and artillery successfully destroyed two enemy command posts, three areas of concentrated personnel, weapons, and equipment, and one other critical target. In total, Russian losses over the past day amounted to 1,130 personnel, along with the destruction of 14 tanks, 23 artillery systems, 63 drones, and other military equipment.

No signs of enemy offensive group formations were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
