2 dead after Russian forces shell Nikopol

In the early hours of Thusday, Russian forces launched an air assault on Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The attack, which combined artillery fire and drone strikes, claimed the lives of two women—a mother and her daughter.
The artillery shells and drones reportedly struck a residential area, striking one of the apartment buildings. A 72-year-old woman was killed instantly when a shell hit, while her 40-year-old daughter, who sustained severe injuries, later succumbed to her wounds in the hospital.
A 46-year-old bus driver was injured during the attack while he was at a public transport stop.
