2 killed, 2 wounded after Russian troops shell Kostiantynivka

A Russian artillery strike  in Kostiantynivka claimed the lives of two civilians and injured two others. Ukrainian prosecutors said they have launched an investigation into this war crime under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The Russian artillery fire targeted apartment buildings in the town. As a result, a man and a woman succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene, while another man and an elderly woman sustained injuries and received medical assistance. All victims were outside when the shelling took place.

The strike also caused damage to building facades and several vehicles.

Prosecutors are documenting the war crimes committed by the Russian armed forces to ensure accountability for the attack, officials confirmed.
