2 missiles and 29 drones: Ukraine’s air defenses foil a night attack

Ukraine’s air defenses had a busy night on November 16 after Russia launched a missile and drone assault on the cities across the country.

The enemy deployed: two Kh-59/69 missiles from the Black Sea, targeting Odesa region, and 29 Shahed attack drones from Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia.

Ukraine’s air defense intercepted one missile and shot down 25 drones. Most of the drones were downed over Odesa region, with air defenses also active in Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, and Ternopil regions.
