Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko reported that 289 people, including 15 children, died as a result of detonation of explosive devices.

Klymenko noted that de-occupied territories and areas close to the front line are the most dangerous zones.

‘These are farmers who try to cultivate fields without waiting for official permission from the authorities, and those who simply ignore all prohibitions and go to dangerous areas to pick mushrooms, for example, or just take a walk,’ the minister explained.

He added that the Ministry of Internal Affairs together with UNICEF launched safety classes for children.
