3 dead, 7 injured as Russian bombarmdents target Donetsk communities

On Tuesday, three people were killed and seven more left injured in the Donetsk region as Russian troops targeted civilian areas with shelling and air attacks, according to the National Police of Ukraine.

Deaths of civilians are a common occurence for the region that  saw over 3,000 strikes targeting both front-line areas and residential zones.

  • In Riznykivka, artillery fire claimed one life.
  • At night , a Russian “FAB-250” guided bomb hit Oleksandro-Kalynove, killing two civilians and injuring two more.
  • Another “FAB-250” bomb known as a drop-and -forget weapon struck Myrnohrad, leaving at least three residents wounded.
  • Artillery fire on Pleshchiivka resulted in one injury.
  • On the Wednesday morning, Russian forces targeted Lyman, where at least one person was reported injured.

The Russian attacks continue to cause significant civilian casualties and damage to infrastructure across Donetsk.
