4 dead, 19 injured after Russian shelling in Donetsk region

In the past 24 hours, Russian forces launched 2,807 strikes along the front line and residential areas in the Donetsk region. The barrages left four people killed and 19 more injured, including children, according to Ukraine’s National Police.

Russian shelling targeted 17 communities, which damaged 78 civilian structures, including 39 houses.

Two FAB-250 guided bombs struck Kramatorsk, killing two civilians. Sixteen people were injured, including three minors: a 15-year-old boy and two girls, ages 4 and 10.  The barrage also damaged 19 apartment buildings and 13 civilian vehicles.

In Hirnyk, a drone strike killed one person and injured another, damaging a private home.

Another fatality was reported in Dronivka, where artillery fire left one person dead.

Kostiantynivka endured six strikes as Russian troops used three FAB guided bombs, artillery, and drones, resulting in one civilian injury.  The attack damaged two apartment buildings, a private house, a shop, an administrative building, a gas station, and ten civilian vehicles.

In Pokrovsk, a Russian drone hit a civilian vehicle, injuring one resident.

Russian forces also dropped three FAB-250 guided bombs on Orikhuvatka, damaging a critical infrastructure facility.

At least 13 private homes were damaged in Bohoyavlenka.

As evacuations continue, police have helped take out  1,504 people, including 56 children. Since the start of mandatory evacuations, 293,749 people have been relocated, among them 34,377 children and 8,353 individuals with disabilities.

Five armored vehicles “Kozak” have received a new mission – thanks to the support of Metinvest, they have been upgraded to full-fledged command and staff vehicles. These upgraded vehicles are now operating on the front line.

In just 1.5 months, Ukrainian specialists have created an innovative protective shell for the control modules of anti-aircraft missile systems (AMS) Patriot and Iris-T SLM. Military serviceman of the International Legion for the Defense of Ukraine with the call sign “Paradox” is the crew commander of the American M113 armored personnel carrier. He is a master at using it and is constantly improving, because the legionnaire’s skills are tested every day in battle. You have to drive to the front lines, often under artillery fire and drone attacks.
