4 dead as Russian guided bombs hit Kharkiv center

At 4:10 pm Friday, Russian forces launched a devastating attack on Kharkiv, targeting the city with guided bombs.

One of the bombs hit a 12-story residential building and a children’s playground in the city center. At least three people have been proclaimed dead, after three top floors of the building collapsed.  Among the victims is a 14-year-old girl who was killed at the playground.

Kharkiv mayor Ihor Terekhov reported the grim news on social media .“In the Nemyshlyanskyi district, the occupiers killed a child right on the playground. A young girl. At least three more people in this area were injured,

According to Kharkiv governor Oleh Syniehubov, the attack on Kharkiv has left 28 people injured after four explosions were reported in the city.

Another bomb reportedly damaged the city’s  civilian infrastructure.  First reports from the scene suggest no casualties in this location, but the damage is still being assessed.

The city was rocked by at least 4 air strikes
