45% Ukrainians believe Ukraine may return occupied territories, – poll results

According to the recent survey conducted by the sociology group ‘Rating’, only 45% of Ukrainians believe that the country will retain all its territories that it had as of 1991.

At the same time, 88% of surveyed Ukrainians are sure that Ukraine will succeed in defeating Russia: 58% answered unequivocally ‘yes’, another 30% believe that ‘rather yes’.

If compared to February 2023, the number of those who believe in victory has decreased by 6%.

45% of respondents believe that Ukraine will return all its territories within the 1991 borders.A year ago, 74% of respondents believed in the return of all territories.

16% believe that Ukraine will return the territories under its control as of February 24, 2022.

The same number of people think that Ukraine will lose some territories. At the same time, 7% are convinced that Ukraine will return Donbas, but not Crimea. The same number believe that Crimea will be returned, but not Donbas. Only 1% of respondents think that Ukraine will be completely occupied by Russia.
