50 thousand Ukrainians are missing, – National Police

The deputy head of the National Police Andrii Nebytov informed that 50 thousand people are considered missing in Ukraine.

He added that before the full-scale invasion, during the 30 years of Ukraine’s independence, only 12 thousand people were considered missing.

The International Red Cross earlier informed about 23 thousand people missing in Ukraine due to the Russian invasion.

Ukraine’s ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets, in turn, said that 40% of the Ukrainian citizens who returned home from Russian captivity had been considered missing.
