The Prosecutor office representative commented on the video that appeared on social networks on April 7. According to the preliminary information, the war crime took place near the village of Krynky in Kherson region.

As the details are still being verified, he called for caution because the names of the victims has not yet been confirmed.

According to the Prosecutor General office, the cases of executions of Ukrainian prisoners of war have been registered since March 2022. The first Russian military has already been sentenced for the murder in Chernihiv region.

Investigations are complicated by the fact that prosecutors often do not have access to the crime scene or the opportunity to examine the body, but they are actively working to solve these crimes in cooperation with various international organizations and agencies.
