6 dead after Russian missile strikes Zaporizhzhia – regional governor

A Russian missile struck Zaporizhzhia in the morning Tuesday. The attack that came at 9:38 am moments after sirens sounded off in the region warning about  a ballistic missile threat.

Initially, local authorities reported there were just 2 wounded, but soon the death tally rose to 6.  Regional governor Ivan Fedorov said the strike killed at least 6 people and left 9 more injured.  The governor statement was brief saying the attack targeted a “key infrastructure facility” in the city that situated close to the frontlines and is often battered by Russian bombardments.
