6 Russian drones shot down overnight in Ukraine

In the early hours of Friday, Russian forces launched nearly 20 strike drones at Ukraine.

According to the Ukrainian Air Forces, Russia deployed 19 Shahed drones from various directions, including Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk, and Cape Chauda in occupied Crimea.

Ukrainian air defense systems shot down nine drones, while seven more were likely lost due to electronic warfare jamming. There have been no reports of damage or casualties caused by falling drones.

The drones were intercepted over the Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, and Kherson regions.
