International partners have provided Ukraine with financial assistance in the amount of 73.7 billion US dollars since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation.

During the discussion with the representative of France on cooperation in the spheres of finance and recovery, the parties discussed the needs and priorities of the state budget for 2024.

This was announced following a meeting between the Minister of Finance of Ukraine, Serhii Marchenko, and the Chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of the French Republic in Ukraine, Benjamin Rohrig.

The Minister of Finance of Ukraine expressed gratitude for the comprehensive support and noted that thanks to the financial support of donors, the government was able to ensure stable state administration and fully finance social and humanitarian expenses.

‘Taking into account the significant need for external financing, Ukraine is counting on support in order to timely finance priority expenses, namely the social and humanitarian sphere, because the country fully finances defense and security through internal revenues and borrowings,’ the minister stated.
