A recent survey by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) reveals that 3 in 4 Ukrainians have doubts the recent govermental reshuffle can make any difference.

It appears to be popular opinion as 74% of respondents said the rejig will not lead to “significant changes” in the government’s performance.

After several ministers were replaced with new appointees, only 12% of those surveyed showed trust it can improve government operations. Meanwhile, 6% think the situation will worsen, while the majority anticipates no real change.

Remarkably, respondents who support president Volodymyr Zelenskyy tend to be optimistic about the reshuffles—19% of them expect positive results, compared to just 3% among those who are not in Zelenskyy’s camp.

Half of those surveyed back the idea of having a “government of national unity”,  whic could bring together “all patriotic forces” from both inside and outside the parliament. Thirteen percent scoffed at the idea , while 33% were neutral on this subject.
