80 new Ukrainian specimen of weapons approved by defense ministry this year

Deputy defense minister Lieutenant General Ivan Havryliuk said that in the first three months of 2024, the Ministry of Defense has approved more than 80 samples of Ukrainian-made weapons and military equipment to be used in the army.

He noted that in the list of samples of weapons and equipment, the largest group is ammunition of various types and calibers.

The second largest group is unmanned aerial vehicles. It includes almost 20 models of FPV kamikaze and multi-use Ukraine-made drones.

The list also includes land robots, electronic warfare and communication equipment, a 120 mm mortar, and transportation means.

The deputy minister added that the defense industry is now showing high dynamics of development and started the production of new types of weapons and equipment.
