9-year-old among the wounded as Russia’s shelling hits Marhanets

Russian forces launched an artillery attack on the city of Marganets in the Dnipropetrovsk region, leaving three injured, including a 9-year-old child.

The young boy was rushed to the hospital and is currently in a stable condition, though still being treated for moderate injuries.

Two women, aged 43 and 69, sustained injuries but will recover at home, with doctors assessing their condition as satisfactory.

The attack also ignited fires in two cars, which were quickly extinguished by emergency services.  It also damaged several stores and five-story residential buildings. Authorities are still assessing the full extent of the destruction.

Additionally, a separate drone strike on the nearby city of Nikopol has claimed the life of a 42-year-old man, and left a 36-year-old woman in critical condition in the hospital.
