A recent survey conducted by Kyiv has revealed that 44 percent of people believe Ukrainian society is united.
One in ten Ukrainians (10%) say the country shares a ‘thorough’ unity, while 34% of respondents are ‘inclined’ to think Ukraine has unity.
Fifteen percent of people think the country remains divided, and a third of those surveyed believe Ukrainian society deals with the ‘equal shares of unity and divisions.’
Among the major issues contributing to division are corruption (16%), the language issue (14%), and the ‘lack of competency’ in Ukraine’s government. Distrust of officials and official media both garnered a 13 percent share.
The survey was conducted in the third week of May 2024
