During the massive Russian missile attack on March 22, all power units of Burshtyn and Ladyzhyn thermal power plants were destroyed or damaged.
According to Dmytro Sakharuk, DTEK energy company lost 50% of its generation capacity after the attacks.
He also stated that the situation in the Ukrainian grid is very difficult and restoration will take a lot of time.
The restoration may take 6-24 months or even more and it will be a gradual process. Now, there is a critical need for some equipment because the company has run out of spare parts due to the continuous Russian strikes.
