Azov Brigade commander Denys “Redis” Prokopenko took to social media on Monday to offer his opinion on the death of former Olenivka prison chief Serhiy Yevsyukov who was killed earlier in the day after a bomb planted under his car blew up in occupied Donetsk.
Prokopenko said the justice has been done as Yevsyukov was responsible for the execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war in Olenivka.
“We will never forgive the cowardly murder of 53 of our comrades in Olenivka. The enemy couldn’t defeat them on the battlefield, so they resorted to blowing up unarmed people in their sleep. Punishing all those involved in war crimes is a painstaking process that may take time, but justice is inevitable,” Prokopenko stated.
He warned that those guilty of crimes against Ukrainians should live in constant fear of retribution.
In summer 2022, Russian forces placed dozens of captured Ukrainian troops from Mariupol in Olenivka prison. On July 29, a blast killed around 50 Ukrainian prisoners of war. Moscow pointed its finger at Ukraine arguing the site was hit by HIMARS missiles in the strike, a claim that remains widely disputed.
Notorious supporter of the concept “in order for a cow to eat less and give more milk, it needs to be fed less and milked more” “Servant of the People” Danylo Hetmantsev, under the guise of “business requirements”, registered a draft law on the collection of VAT on all foreign purchases, regardless of their value. In other words, every Ukrainian, buying goods of any value and purpose abroad, when sending them to Ukraine, will have to pay an additional fifth part, or 20% of the cost of the goods.
