Catherine Deneuve voiced Ukrainian book

French actress, singer and model Catherine Deneuve voiced the Ukrainian book ‘Apricots of Donbas’.

From now on, the audiobook of Ukrainian poet Liubov Yakymchuk can be found on French audio platforms. Titles and several poems were voiced in Ukrainian by the author herself.

‘Apricots of Donbas’ includes 11 poetic cycles written at the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war in 2014.In poetic form, the author shows the realities horrors of war.

The translation of the book was published last year by Les éditions des femmes.

‘Catherine Deneuve voiced Apricots of Donbas, and the audiobook is now available in bookstores in France, as well as on all French audio platforms. You will also hear my voice there, because I read the titles and five or six poems for the book, in Ukrainian,’ Yakymchuk wrote.
