Children evacuated from 28 communities in Donetsk region

Evacuation efforts are underway for children in 28 communities across Donetsk Oblast. The 20 police and emergency services teams are now involved in the operation.
Children are being evacuated from the Lyman, Illinivka, Myrnograd, Hrodovka, Novohrodivka, Selydivka, and Kurakhove. They are taken out of the area in armored vehicles and are made to wear helmets and bulletproof vests for protection.
Evacuation is conducted only with parental or legal guardian consent and requires at least one parent to accompany the children.
On Tuesday, the effort helped to evacuate to safety 372 families with 481 children have been evacuated. According to official estimates, 2,462 families with 3,903 children are scheduled for evacuation.
Five armored vehicles “Kozak” have received a new mission – thanks to the support of Metinvest, they have been upgraded to full-fledged command and staff vehicles. These upgraded vehicles are now operating on the front line.
