Court arrests agriculture minister Mykola Solskyi

The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court has chosen a prevention measure for agriculture minister Mykola Solskyi.

He will be detained for 60 days, until June 24, with an alternative bail of more than 75 million hryvnias.

On April 25, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, announced that the Minister of Agrarian Policy, Mykola Solskyi, submitted a statement to the Parliament requesting his resignation.

Earlier, it was reported that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine exposed a government official for taking over the state land.
