Court confiscates property of senior recruitment officer in Vinnytsia

On Thusday, the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) has ruled to confiscate a $46,000 apartment of a military recruitment chief in Vinnytsia. Although the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office failed to disclose the identity of the recruitment officer, reports claim it Roman Poterlevych.

The court began reviewing the case on November 8, 2023, following a lawsuit filed by state prosecutors. On August 29, 2024, the High Anti-Corruption court upheld the ruling in the officer’s case.

According to reports, Poterlevych had spend a hefty sum  to buy a new apartment in Vinnytsia in his father name. The nominee purchase scheme was exposed prompting the court decision to confiscate the property.
