Culture ministry comments on the ‘hate’ regarding reservation from mobilization

Yesterday, it became known that the employees of the TV channels participating in the TV marathon and other organizations will be reserved from mobilization. The list also includes the employees of the circus, which provoked discussion on social media.
Acting culture minister Rostyslav Karandeev commented on the situation.
‘This is just disrespect for people in the field who do their work honestly and qualitatively, a primitive assessment of their social importance, as well as the overall importance of culture in a country at war,’ he said.
According to the minister, one cannot draw conclusions about how important an institution is based on its name alone.
The employees of the mobile circus tour all over Ukraine, including in the liberated territories. They also perform in hospitals, shelters and unsuitable premises, the minister explained
Last year, the circus held 1,510 performances, which were attended by about 145,000 spectators in 17 regions of Ukraine. Since the beginning of 2024, 182 performances have been held in 14 regions.
In addition, the circus submitted for reservation only 14 employees. 11 of them are the performers of the most complex circus genres and 3 more are technical workers without whom performances are just impossible.
Amendments to Ukraine’s enforcement proceedings legislation, initiated by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, have entered into force. Among other measures, the reform provides for the automated lifting of attachments on bank accounts immediately after debts in enforcement proceedings have been fully settled. The main practical benefit for citizens is the complete elimination of the need to contact an enforcement officer in person and wait for paper decisions once the debt has been paid.
