Culture ministry comments on the ‘hate’ regarding reservation from mobilization

Yesterday, it became known that the employees of the TV channels participating in the TV marathon and other organizations will be reserved from mobilization. The list also includes the employees of the circus, which provoked discussion on social media.
Acting culture minister Rostyslav Karandeev commented on the situation.
‘This is just disrespect for people in the field who do their work honestly and qualitatively, a primitive assessment of their social importance, as well as the overall importance of culture in a country at war,’ he said.
According to the minister, one cannot draw conclusions about how important an institution is based on its name alone.

Last year, the circus held 1,510 performances, which were attended by about 145,000 spectators in 17 regions of Ukraine. Since the beginning of 2024, 182 performances have been held in 14 regions.
