The auditors of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine established that individual servicemen were unjustly paid additional monetary remuneration.

In fact, a number of servicemen were in permanent deployment points and performed functional duties not related to the hostilities, but received combat allowances.

The cases of violations were revealed in military units in Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, and Poltava regions.

In total, such violations amounted to 186.6 million hryvnias.

According to the decisions of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, all the materials of the audits were handed over to the law enforcement agencies to establish the degree of guilt of the officials and to compensate the damages caused to the state.
