Denmark donates 5.3 million euro to support Ukraine’s energy system

The Energy Support Fund of Ukraine received a new donation from Denmark in the amount of EUR 5.3 million.

The donation was announced by the Minister of Climate, Energy and Communal Services of the Kingdom of Denmark Lars Ohor during his meeting with the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Halushchenko.

Herman Halushchenko thanked Denmark for the constant support during the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine.

The total amount of Denmark’s contributions to the Fund reached almost 17 million euros. Denmark became the first sponsor of the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine at the beginning of April 2022.

The total amount of contributions from sponsors to the Fund (including those announced) has already reached more than 433 million euros.
