According to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, each Ukrainian family should now have at least three children.

He said that the current demographic situation in Ukraine is difficult due to the full-scale Russian invasion.

‘Unfortunately, people die because of the full-scale war. We also lost those people who left Ukraine with their children. More than a million Ukrainian children are abroad. The task is to return these families, return these children, as well as motivate Ukrainians to give birth to as many children as possible, so that Ukraine will prosper in its peaceful future after our victory,’ Shmyhal explained.

According to the head of the government, the demographic crisis can be resolved. In particular, for this, every Ukrainian family must have at least three children.

At the same time, the government plans to attract funds to increase childbirth payments from abroad, since every Ukrainian hryvnia is now ‘directed to finance the Defense Forces of Ukraine’.

This is the new reality for Ukrainian forces, who have received enhanced protection thanks to the Metinvest project within “Steel Front of Rinat Akhmetov”.

To commemorate the third anniversary of the full-scale invasion, “Bukvy” has compiled data on the largest donors supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Among them there are charitable foundations and businesses. The list includes, in particular, foundations that provide assistance exclusively from their own resources, without fundraising (such as SCM by Rinat Akhmetov, Epicenter, etc.).

This development was another step in strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities, aimed at protecting key elements of the air defense system from debris damage.
