Electricity disruptions in 492 towns and villages, – energy ministry

As of December 1 morning, 492 settlements in Ukraine remain without electricity. In 426 towns and villages, the outages were caused by Russian air and artillery strikes. 66 settlements are out od power due to bad weather.

The situation remains difficult in frontline regions, regions bordering to the Russian Federation, and, due to the bad weather conditions, in Zakarpatska region.

The energy engineers are working 24/7. During the day, the electricity supply was restored to more than 49,000 consumers.

According to the ministry, the situation in the power system is stable and outages are not planned.

Yesterday, Ukrenergo company warned about possible capacity deficit in Ukraine’s grid.
