Reporting war being ‘unwanted content’? Elon Musk’s platform X appears to be blocking access to the Bellingcat investigation on the missile strike on the Okhmatdyt children’s hospital in Kyiv.

Some social media users complained they received a warning about a “dangerous” source after they tried to open a link to the investigation.

“The link you are trying to access has been identified by X or our partners as potentially containing spam or posing a danger, in accordance with X’s URL policy,” the platform’s warning message reads.

It caught the eye of the Bellingcat creative director Eliot Higgins who wrote, “Unsafe to who, Putin?”.

The Bellington report revealed  evidence pointing to a “Russian launched Kh-101 cruise missile being the weapon that struck a children’s hospital in Kyiv”.
