Energy ministry recommends businesses to provide themselves with backup generation

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine advised enterprises to provide themselves with backup generation and solar panels for self-sufficiency in electricity, deputy minister Mykola Kolesnyk said.

‘In this way, we will be able to prepare for the next heating season,’ he explained.

According to him, the installation of backup generation is an economically beneficial solution that will help the business to function stably during potential energy crises.

In addition, the Ministry of Energy has created all the necessary conditions for the implementation of such projects.

He also emphasized that the market for installing solar panels has already developed in Ukraine, which is a fully market-based mechanism that can meet the energy needs of enterprises.
