Fighting intensifies in Pokrovsk- General Staff update

Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces have recorded 96 combat engagements across the front line. The most intense fighting rages in the Pokrovsk sector, where nearly a third of the enemy’s offensive actions took place.

In the Kharkiv sector, the number of attacks rose to three. Defensive forces successfully repelled assaults near Vovchansk and Tykhyi.

The Kupiansk area saw five Russian attempts to advance near Petropavlivka, Koliskivka, and towards Novosynivka.

On the Lyman front, the enemy launched 12 attacks near Novoselivka, Makiivka, Nevske, Torske, and in the Serebryansky Forest.

In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian defenders thwarted six Russian assaults near Spirne, Verkhnokamyanske, and Pereizne.

The Kramatorsk front dealt with seven enemy attacks, as Russian troops  concentrated their efforts near Chasiv Yar. They also launched two airstrikes using unguided rockets in this area.

On the Toretsk front, the enemy executed 11 attacks in and around the communities of Pivnichne, New York, Zalizne, and Toretsk. Russian forces launched 19 airstrikes on Toretsk and its surrounding areas, dropping over 30 guided bombs.

In the Pokrovsk setor, Ukrainian defenders repelled 28 assaults across ten different communities. The primary focus of the enemy’s efforts was on Vozdvyzhivka, Zhelanne, Karlivka, and Hrodivka. Backed by air support, Russian forces attempted to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions.

In the Kurakhiv sector, defensive forces repelled five enemy attacks near Krasnohorivka, Konstantynivka, and Paraskoviivka.

On the Vremivka front, Russian troops made two attempts to advance from Volodymyrivka.

The Orikhiv direction saw a combat clash near Robotyne.

In the Dnipro area, all four attacks by Russian troops were unsuccessful.

No signs of enemy offensive group formations have been detected in the Volyn and Polissia directions.

Along the borders with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy continues to shell communites from Russian territory and launch airstrikes.
