Five Russian warships brought out for prowl in Black and Mediterranean seas

Ukraine’s naval intelligence said on Tuesday that Russia has now its five warships on combat duty in the Black and Mediterranean Seas.  The vessels can carry Kalibr missiles and boast a total salvo capacity of up to 28 missile launches.

In the Black Sea, three enemy vessels are on combat duty, all of which are Kalibr cruise missile carriers with a total salvo capacity of up to 12 missiles.

Meawhile, two more warships are on the prowl in the Mediterranean Sea, with one of them being able to carry 16 Kalibr missiles.

No Russian battleships are “present in the Sea of Azov”.

The Ukrainian Navy says that Russia continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) of 1974 as it keeps disabling its automatic identification systems (AIS).
