Petro Poroshenko, former Ukrainian president and leader of the European Solidarity party, has teamed up with the Sprava Gromad civic group to deliver new equipment to Ukrainian troops at the front lines.

“Every week sees us getting new equipment to the front lines. No heat wave can stop this tradition of ours,” said Poroshenko.

The equipment, worth over 26 million hryvnias, includes 10 portable shower and laundry units, two Foden trucks, three excavators, and 27 quad bikes to aid in the evacuation of the wounded.

“We will take this equipment to the Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhya regions, where things are literally scorching hot right now,” added the politician, who has been actively helping the Ukrainian army since the early days of the invasion.

Poroshenko’s aid and charity efforts are estimated at over 5.4 billion hryvnias
