Prime minister Denys Shmyhal stated that as of now, there is no need for scheduled outages.
There is no deficit of electricity due to the use of solar generation and the end of repair work at nuclear power plants, Denys Shmyhal said during the government meeting.
‘The condition of the Ukrainian energy industry remains in the focus of our attention,’ the prime minister stressed.
He once again called to the population and businesses to use electricity sparingly.
In case of a new significant shortage of electricity, Ukrenergo will be forced to return to planned shutdown schedules.
