On May 7, the government supported the draft law on the ratification of the free trade agreement between Ukraine and Turkey.

Now, the draft law will be submitted to the parliament. The agreement abolishes customs duties on a significant number of Ukrainian goods.

According to the Prime Minister, Turkey is among five main trade partners of Ukraine and this agreement creates new opportunities for Ukrainian businesses.

In addition, the governments of the countries will establish a working group to discuss global and bilateral trade in the grain market. The parties are also ready for a constructive dialogue on expanding economic cooperation, in particular, the initiation of joint projects in priority sectors of the economy.
