Kharkiv authorities plan a 200 thousand square meters underground block

Kharkiv mayor Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov announced that the city intends to build a safe underground block for 225 million euros. Investors are currently being sought for the project.

Kharkiv Investment Agency has already presented the project of a safe underground town at the international Ukrainian-Luxembourg business forum.

The area of the underground block will be 236,000 square meters. It will be possible to enter it from the metro station, and a park area will be arranged on the surface.

According to the mayor, a school, parking lots, medical facilities, co-working centers and shopping areas will be built there.

‘It will be built in the central part of the city. Now we are looking for investors, because this project will be very expensive. But it is necessary for people to feel safe,’ Ihor Terekhov stated.
