Majority of Ukrainians prefer post-war elections, – survey findings

Source: KMIS

In a recent survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KMIS), a striking 72% of Ukrainians believe that elections should be postponed until after the war.

This opinion contrasts sharply with the 24% of respondents who think it is perfectly okay to hold elections before the conflict is over.

KMIS surveyed 2,508 respondents between May 8 and May 25, 2024. The margin of error for the national sample is no more than 2.2%.
