Mandatory evacuation in Donetsk region expanded

The coordination headquarters made a decision regarding the mandatory evacuation of residents of nine villages in Marinka and Ocheretyno territorial communities of Donetsk region.

According to the decision of the authorities, the mandatory evacuation concerns the villages of Antonivka, Illinka, Zoriane, Oleksandropil, Zhelanne Druhe, Mezhove, Voskhod, Novoselivka Persha and Zhelanne.

Donetsk region governor Vadym Filashkin emphasized the need to evacuate residents to safe areas, in particular families with children and people with disabilities.

He said that the authorities are working in cooperation with international partners and organizations in order to ensure the safety of the residents of the region.

According to the latest data, there are 72 children in the mentioned territorial communities.
