MP Herashchenko sent request to prosecutors regarding pressure on Ukrinform

‘European Solidarity’ party MP Iryna Herashchenko informed that she sent a request to the Prosecutor General office regarding facts of political censorship and pressure from the President’s office on the state news agency Ukrinform.
‘As promised, I sent a request to the Prosecutor General regarding the facts of political censorship, interference in the work of the editorial office by the President’s office, obstruction of journalistic activities,’ she wrote.
According to her, there are obvious facts that the government is returning to the worst practices of Yanukovych’s time, blocking the opposition and leaders of public opinion.
Iryna Herashchenko also thanked all journalists who have courage to tell the truth.
