On February 12, the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau searched Serhii Pashynskyi, a member of parliament of four convocations, who currently heads the National Association of Defense Industry Enterprises.

‘It is the case regarding the transfer of ‘Kurchenko’s fuel’ to the state – during Yanukovych’s time, this oligarch profited from assets worth hundreds of millions of dollars, including almost 100,000 tons of oil products, which in 2014 were transferred to state oil operators’, the statement says.

According to Pashynskyi, in 2015, as a member of parliament, he appealed to the President of Ukraine with a request to cover the fuel shortage of the Armed Forces with ‘Kurchenko fuel’, which greatly angered Yanukovych’s sponsors and their Russian supervisors at the time.

‘Only a few weeks ago, the Russian investigative committee accused me of starting the anti-terrorist operation in 2014. And now there is a strange synchronization on the part of Ukrainian investigators…’ Pashynskyi stated.

Pashynskyi reminded that since March 2022, he has been heading the National Association of Defense Industry Enterprises of Ukraine, and during this time, he has never left the territory of Ukraine.
