On Wednesday, former MP Nadiya Savchenko filed a formal complaint with Ukraine’s Security Service against active MP Maryana Bezuhla. A cat fight started after Bezuhla accused Savchenko of a “security breach in Ocheretyne”, claiming the actions of Savchenko, who now is serving as a squadron commander in Donbas, triggered “cascading processes” that enabled the laterst Russian offensive toward Pokrovsk.
Among other claims, Bezuhla mentioned the suspicious radio equipment Savchenko is using. She urged the SBU to investigate Savchenko’s actions.
The scandal got a knee-jerk reaction from Savchenko who called for the similar investigation into Bezuhla’s own actions arguing the latter often makes public information that hurts Ukraine’s national security.
