This announcement can brighten up things for Ukrainians for the upcoming weekend. According to Ukrenergo, there are no scheduled power outages for tomorrow, September 7.  The company though urged residents to conserve electricity, particularly during peak hours from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. They advise against using multiple high-power appliances at the same time to help ease the load on the grid.

Despite this reassuring update, Ukraine’s energy demand is high. On Thursday, September 5, electricity consumption was notably higher across the country, as reported by Ukrenergo.

The broader energy situation in Ukraine remains challenging after the Russain missile attack on August 26 added woes to the country’s power grid crippled by earlier attacks.
