No signs of let-up at Kurakhove- frontline update

Russian forces continue their offensive operations in the eastern Ukraine with 97 combat engagements taking place since of the day, said Ukraine’s General Staff in its 4 pm update. The enemy remains most active on the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove fronts.

Russian artillery continues to bombard Sumy, Chernihiv, and Kharkiv regions from across the border.

  • Kharkiv Front: Ukrainian forces repelled an enemy attack near Vovchansk.
  • Kupiansk Front: The enemy launched five assaults on Ukrainian positions near Lozova and Pershotravneve, with two clashes still underway. The towns of Pishchane, Kivrashivka, Zahrizove, and Bohuslavka endured strikes from guided bombs.
  • Lyman Front: Russian forces attempted five attacks toward Cherneshchyna, Terny, and Zarichne. Three clashes ended, two more are ongoing. Russian airstrikes targeted Yampilivka and Terny with guided bombs and targeted Serhiyivka and Novoyehorivka with rockets.
  • Kramatorsk Front: Fighting continues near the town of Stupochky.
  • Toretsk Front: Russian troops made three attempts to improve their positions near Toretsk, all of which Ukrainian forces successfully repelled. Eight aerial bombs hit the area near Dachne.
  • Pokrovsk Front: Since the start of the day, Russian forces have made 24 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions. Fighting rages near Sukhaya Balka, Promin, Lysivka, Kruty Yar, Hryhorivka, Dachenske, Petrivka, Novooleksiivka, and Pustynka. Puskhine also suffered guided bomb strikes.
  • Kurakhove Front: This front now sees the heaviest fighting, with 32 Russian attacks recorded near Berestky, Illinka, Novoselydivka, Voznesenka, Novodmytrivka, Maksymilianivka, Dalne, Antonivka, and Katerynivka. The enemy has focused its main efforts on Antonivka and Novoselydivka, where they launched 16 assaults, 10 of which are ongoing. Russian forces also dropped two guided bombs near Kurakhove.
  • Vremivka Front: Ukrainian forces had combat engagments near Rivnopil, Novopil, Trudove, Kostiantynopil, and Makarivka, with six attacks still being countered. Airstrikes hit Velyka Novosilka, Zeleny Pole, and Novopil.
  • Huliaipole Front: Russian forces attacked Bilohirya with rockets.
  • Orikhiv Front: Russian troops launched three attacks toward Novodanilivka and Novoandriivka, dropping four guided bombs near Zaporizhzhia and Natalivka.
  • Prydniprovsk Front: Ukrainian forces repelled four assaults and endured an airstrike on Kozatske.

The situation remains stable on other fronts with no significant changes.
