Oil products leak into Dnipro after Russian strike

The State Ecology Inspectorate of Ukraine recorded the leakage of oil products into the Dnipro River after the Russian attack on Dnipro hydro power plant.

The experts of the Inspectorate took the probes of the river water for further examination.

All collected materials will also be transferred to the Ukrainian law enforcement bodies for the criminal investigation.

Earlier, it was reported that during the overnight attack Russian missiles hit the dam of the biggest hydro power plant in Ukraine.

As reported by the Air Force, the invaders launched 151 missiles of different types and attack drones. The Ukrainian air defense managed to intercept 55 enemy drones and 37 missiles.

The strikes caused civilian casualties in different regions of the country.

Emergency outages were reported in Sumy, Poltava, Donetsk, and Odesa regions. In Kharkiv, 700 thousand people are left without electricity.
